Johan Gjesdahl
Chairman

Gjesdahl, born 1970, is the CEO of Springfondet, an early-stage investor in Promon. He has experience as Vice President M&A and Business Development at TANDBERG ASA and as Investment Manager at Telenor Venture. Gjesdahl also formed part of the management team of a high-tech startup during the dotcom years. Gjesdahl holds an MBA from Cornell University and an MSc in marine technology from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. Gjesdahl joined the Promon board of directors in 2011.

Arve Saghaug
Member of the board

Saghaug, born 1953, has a technical and economical background. He has 30 years experience with sales, marketing and leadership, of which 10 years as CEO of Ibas AS.
Saghaug is a board member in several IT and investment companies and has been member of the Promon board of directors since 2007.

Christian Holme
Member of the board

Holme, born 1978, works as an investment manager in Kistefos AS. Prior to joining Kistefos, Holme was an equity analyst at the investment bank Carnegie where he analyzed Norwegian IT and technology stocks. Holme holds an MSc from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and an MSc from London School of Economics. Holme is also board member in Advanzia Bank S.A., SearchDaimon AS and Bergmoen Energi AS. Holme joined the Promon board of directors in 2007.

Dalip Dewan
Member of the board

Dewan, born 1956, has a Masters in Computer Science from Technical University in Trondheim. He has over 20 years work experience in Computer Science and Information Technology. Dewan is currently Division Director R&D with Visma Software ASA. Prior to this he was Research Director at the Norwegian Computing Center. Dewan joined the Promon board of directors in 2008.

Gustaf Sahlman
Member of the board

Sahlman, born 1967, has a 15 year track record of working with knowledge-intensive high growth technology companies. Since 2000 Gustaf has developed the Swedish company Polopoly from scratch to one of the world's most exciting web content management vendors. Polopoly was able to combine growth with healthy profit margins throughout its existence and the company was acquired by Atex in 2008. Sahlman holds an MSc from Stockholm School of Economics, where he also has been part of the PhD program. Sahlman joined the Promon board of directors in 2009.

Trygve Aasland
Member of the board

Aasland, born 1964, has a long and successful track-record as a manager at leading Norwegian IT companies. He was the CEO of Norman ASA, an IT-security company, from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, Aasland held a number of key management positions within sales and marketing at TANDBERG ASA. Presently, he is the CEO of Fora Form AS, and also serves on the board of Questback AS. Aasland holds a Master of General Business from BI (Siviløkonom). Aasland joined the Promon board of directors in 2011.
